The Lark’s Competition News
This newsletter lets you know when the results for last month’s prose poem competition will be announced.
To allow time in our busy schedules, we will announce the winners on Wednesday, 18th March 2026, which is just over a week away.
Please bear with us as we gather the winners and runners-up to be published in The Lark’s upcoming charity book.
We will publish first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth place, plus seventeen runners-up, in the book. The first-place winner’s charity, mentioned in their piece, will receive all proceeds from our book sales. Plus, the first-place winners from both competitions will be featured on our front page, on Medium’s Featured page, and will be shared on social media.
Also, we'll pick one title from any prose poem entered into February’s competition as a winner, and use it as the title of The Lark’s new charity book. If we can't pick a title from this competition, it will go to March’s competition.

The winners in first, second, and third place in both competitions, and the winner of the prose poem title, will receive a free paperback copy of Butterfly Dance (the proceeds go to Cancer).
Plus, we'll also announce some surprise prizes on 18th March 2026.
